Friedrich Schiller was a German dramatist, poet, and literary theorist. Some of his more famous works include: "The Robbers," the "Wallenstein" trilogy, "Maria Stuart," and "Wilhelm Tell." He is mentioned in his capacity as a poet by Fanny Adeline Seward in her 1862-1863 diary.
