Biography
Railroad Investor. Joslyn was born in Batavia, NY, but lived most of his adult life in New York City. He co-invested with John Yates Bostwick on various railroad stocks. In 1900, he was one of the incorporators of the Surinam-American Co. He died in Dutch Guiana in 1903. Fanny Seward references "Mr. Joslyn" and his family in her 1862-1863 when she passes through New York City.
