Biography

Son of Edward Dorr Tracy and Susan Campbell Tracy. Practiced law in Macon, GA. In 1860, he was a member of the Georgia legislature. Major in the 6th Georgia Infantry during the American Civil War. Died in battle at age 31. Referenced in a letter written by his uncle, Albert Haller Tracy, to William H. Seward, dated January 18, 1832 during his visit to their home in Macon.
