This is possibly the "Miss Nellie Everts" listed in the newspaper as being one of the many who donated flowers at the 1873 memorial to William Henry Seward. She was variously called Helen, Ellen, and Ella in censuses but was single and living in Auburn at the time of the memorial service. Lazette Miller Worden included the newspaper clipping with this name in her June 2, 1873 letter to Augustus Henry Seward.
