Charles Swift Harris was an engraver in Auburn, NY. He was also the brother of carpenter George Harris. "Mr. Chas. Harris" is mentioned in an article detailing the memorial put on in honor of William Henry Seward in 1873. Lazette Miller Worden included the clipping in her letter to Augustus Henry Seward on June 2, 1873.
