Biography

Fictional character in William Shakespeare's play Macbeth. King Duncan of Scotland is murdered by Macbeth. He is the father of two sons, Malcolm and Donalbain. He is referenced in a production of Macbeth Frances "Fanny" Seward observes at the National Theater in Washington, D.C. in her 1860s diary fragments.
