Linus Bacon Comins was a US Representative from Massachusetts. He served from 1855-1859, and afterwards returned to Massachusetts, where he continued in manufacturing pursuits. In Fanny Seward's diary, she recorded that Linus and his wife, Mary, attended a dinner party at the Seward's house in Washington D.C. in January 1859.
