Elizabeth/Eliza Hinman was the wife of Lyman Hinman, an Auburn merchant who ran a grocery business. She may have assisted him in his work. This is suggested in Frances "Fanny" Seward's 1858-1859 diary where she references buying a canary for her friend Molly from "Mrs. Hinman."
