Harriet W. Freeman was the daughter of Jonathan Freeman and Margaret Clark Kerr. She never married. She is referenced as "Miss Freeman" in the 1866 diary of Frances "Fanny" Seward in the company of her sister Mrs. Margaret (Freeman) Souder visiting the Souder family in Philadelphia.
