Biography
Early leader in the Latter Day Saints Movement. He was called on by Joseph Smith in New York, then moved to Utah later in his life. He was a member of the first presidency of LDS, served in the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, and participated in plural marriage. He is mentioned in a letter from Janet McNeil Seward to Lucy Standart Bostwick on April 13, 1871.
