My dear Jennings
You will please sell no more of the wild
lands in the list allotted to me – as I have made a disposition
of the whole. This fact is not to be mentioned of course. I will
give you the particulars in another letter.
The Conventions have been held in various counties - and the
result thus far seems decidedly favorable. The N.Y. Convention met
on Wednesday [ eveg ]

Westchester Orange Dutchess Ulster Columbia Albany Rensselaer
Saratoga Cayuga & Seneca ^& Schenectady & Montgomery^ all are said by in our letters to be
of the same sentiment, and we believe so
The only Counties ^havghaving appointed delegatsdelegates^ adverse heard from here are Ontario Monroe
& Erie. The latter in part if at all.
Our friends feel confident.
