My dear Uncle,
Your favor reached me by this morning’s
mail, and, for the spirit of kindness which it
manifests, you will please to accept an expression
of my warmest thanks.
My instructions to Mr Starr
I suppose from your silence upon that subject. His
answers to my interrogation’es have not yet been received.
Nothing further can be done with my estate
affairs until the 1st July next, when the larger portion
of Notes becomes due.
I remain as ever
With great Respect,
Your affectionate Nephew,
Augustus S.
His Excellency
