First wife of Albert Brisbane (1809-1890), an American utopian socialist and the chief popularizer of the theories of Charles Fourier in the United States. He met her in 1831 while in Europe and brought her back to the United States with him. They married in 1833. She returned to Bavaria in 1838. She is mentioned by WHS in 18341201WHS_FMS1.
