Biography

Minister to France, Minister to Sweden, Post Master General.  He was a printer, publisher, author, inventor, scientist, and diplomat. He helped to draft the Declaration of Independence and he was one of the signers. He was also Minister to France during the Revolutionary War as well as a delegate to the Constitutional Convention. His work as a scientist was very important and made significant contribution to the field, especially in understanding electricity. He is known for his elegant, witty, and wise writing.
