George Dill
Birth: 9-11-1770
Death: 10-14-1844
RelationshipsBiography
France Miller Seward writes on July 7, 1829 to William Henry Seward that "Old Mr Dill who lives in the old house is not expected to live many days." Dill Jr.'s father died and was buried in Warwick, NY, which is close to Florida, NY, so it's possible that the Seward family had known the Dill family for some time. Currently unable to find further info on Dill Jr., although his son's tombstone says that he is the son of a George Dill Jr. A Mr. Dill and wife are mentioned in Harriet Ann Weed's letter to Frances Miller Seward on Jun 16, 1835. This is likely George and his wife, Temperance Ketcham, who were both from the area.
