  • Charles was the husband of Evaline Schooley. Their children were: Eva H. (m. Henry Wiggins) Ike; William H. (m. Nellie Lucretia Tenny) Ike; and Cora Elmira "Allie" (m. Marvin Wiggins) Ike. It is believed his parents were John (c1803) & Anna (Aug 12, 1803)Ike, from PA. If true then Charles was a brother to: Jacob, c1824 PA; Deborah c1838 NY; Sarah c1840 NY & John Ike, Jr., Mar 1843. Most of the censuses state he was born in New Jersey. Charles was a carpenter by trade and a Civil War Veteran. He enlisted in Ovid, NY in Mar. 1864 and separated in Jun 1865 in Ovid, NY.
  • He was hit by a train 3 years before he died.
