Biography

Mary Ellen Shields Raymond was born in 1855 on the eighth of March. She was part of the household staff. She was mentioned in 18641219FMS_LMW as being the member of the staff to "give all her time to the babies," essentially becoming a nursemaid. She married a man named Thomas Henry Raymond and they had a daughter, Mary Francis Raymond Melvin, in 1880. Mary died at the age of 31 on the 16th of December, 1886. She was in Owasco, Cayuga, New York, USA at the time of her death.
