Biography
"Son of a physician. Prominent lawyer in Central New York, located in Onondaga Hill. Had no peer in real estate law. Moved to Syracuse in 1829 and formed the law firm of Noxon & Leavenworth, the leading law firm in the village for several years. B. Davis & Sally had 12 children - Robert T., Ann Eliza, George W., James, Cornelia, Hester Frances, Irene, B. Davis Jr., Augustus, Augustus, Henry & Julia." Found in 18381105AHW_WHS: "Noxon says Onandaga County is safe for the Whigs – that the Whig ticket was farther ahead in Syracuse on the 2d day than he anticipated"
