Biography

Sarah Taylor was the daughter of Colonel Joseph Taylor and Eveline Taylor. She married David Rumph Jones on February 19, 1853. They had two children during their marriage. She died in 1817. She is mentioned in WHS's letter to FMS 18490426: "I told Mrs. Col. Taylor that you would let her know when you arrive. She is prevented from going abroad by the peculiar delay of her situation, and her husband  is now in the West. Her daughter  will wait upon you I presume."
