Biography

Eli Perry was born in Cambridge, Washington County, New York, but he moved to Albany and started in business in 1827 and continued until 1851 when he became a member of the New York State Assembly. He was Mayor of Albany from 1851 to 1854, from 1856 to 1860, and from 1862 to 1866. He died in Albany, NY.
