Kennedy, Duncan—born, Amsterdam, N. Y., May 16, 1809; graduated, Union College, 1835, Princeton Theological Seminary, 1838; ordained, Albany Presbytery, October 17, 1839; pastor, Presbyterian churches, Galway, N. Y., 1839—41; pastor, North Reformed Dutch Church, Albany, N. Y., 1841-55; pastor, Second Street Presbyterian Church, Troy, N. Y., 1855-69; stated supply, Second Church, Brooklyn, N. Y., 186869; pastor, Westminster Church, Bloomfield, N. J., 1870-81; resident, Bloomfield, N. J., 1881-87, where he died of dropsy of the heart, December 30, 1887. Married, Miss Clarissa Spencer, Utica, N. Y., December, 1841, who survives him with four children. Received the degree of D.D., Hamilton College.
