Biography

Kezia was the slave of Robert Willis Flourney, and was "stolen" from him by Alanson Greenman, April 13, 1841. It is unclear what happened to Kezia after this event, but Greenman was charged with three counts of larceny, although William Henry Seward was in correspondence with the Governor of Georgia claiming that the charges were divided when really, they are one and the same crime.
