Biography

Sarah Miller Harbottle is the wife of the jeweller, George Harbottle. They were married sometime before 1843 as FMS says to LMW "Sarah Miller is married to Harbottle" in a letter on June 11, 1843, so they must have been married sometime before then. According to a New York State Census from 1855 on Ancestry, they had 3 children at that time (Helen-11, Cornelia-3, Catherine-0) and also had Ellen Finn, a servant (age 17) and Sarah's mother Cornelia Miller (age 53) living with them in Auburn.
