Biography

Bridget Scollins was born sometime around 1810. The 1850 Federal Census Record lists her birth year around 1810 while the 1855 New York State Census Record lists it around 1806. Bridget was born in Ireland and was married to a John Scollins, another Irish native. The couple had a daughter named Mary who was also born in Ireland. By 1850, the family lived in Auburn, NY. Bridget is believed to be buried in Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Auburn along with her husband John. She possibly died March 16, 1897.
