Biography
John Doyle was born in Nova Scotia, Canada. He married Sarah Ann Doyle with whom he had 11 children: AnnEliza, Elizabeth, Richard, John, Frank, Sarah, William, William, Harriet, Charles, Thomas, Phebe. John and Sarah's daughter Eliza worked for Frances Seward. John and Sarah moved their family around Ontario and Upstate New York throughout the first half of the nineteenth-century.
Although Find a Grave lists John's death date as 1874, it is likely incorrect, as he is listed as living with his daughter, Eliza Tehan, and her family, in the 1880 Auburn census.
