Sarah "Sally" Buchanan Preston Floyd was the wife of John Buchanan Floyd, the Secretary of War from 1857-1860. She and John were cousins, and they had no children. In Fanny Seward's 1859 diary, she mentions that the Floyds attended a dinner party at the Seward house in Washington D.C. in January 1857.
