Biography
Nathan Adler was a peddlar who was murdered by 3 brothers, John Baham Jr, Alfred Baham, and Albert Baham. Samuel Blatchford was defense council for the Bahams. Albert Baham was sentenced to death, and executed on January 24, 1851. His brother John Baham's death sentence was first commuted to life in prison after he confessed, then he was pardoned in 1859, and his full citizenship rights restored. Brother Alfred pled guilty to manslaughter after Alberet's execution, was sentenced to 5 years and 3 months in prison, and released in 1856.
