Biography

Henry Montgomery purchased the Auburn Journal and Advertiser in 1846, and after he sold the paper in 1848, he remained an editor. Clarence Armstrong Seward asked Henry Montgomery to send Augustus Henry Seward the "weekly advertiser" when Gus was stationed at Fort Towson.
