Mentioned in 18590811WHS_FMS simply as "companion Mr. Forsyth," and then in 18600703FAS_WSJ as "Mr Forsyth of Troy, the gentleman who traveled in Italy with Father, and was with him on Vesuvius. He is soon to marry a miss Pompelli." Listed as a lawyer on the 1850 and 1870 census. Though on Find a Grave his spouse is listed as "Sarah M Tibbits Forsyth," she dies in 1854, and from the 1870s census we can see Mr Forsyth has the same son Robert still living with them that was listed in the 1850s census, and is indeed remarried to Lydia, who is listed in the website cited below as "Lilla A Pumpelly."
