Guarino Guarini

Biography
Guarino Guarini was an architect of the Baroque style and is well known for his instructive materials and teaching on the subject. Much of his work influenced later Baroque artists. While William Henry Seward was travelling in 1859, he visited the chapel of Turin's Cathedral, designed by Guarini. He described Guarini's work as "originality of design and fancifulness of finish to the utmost" on November 4, 1859.
