Sister-in-law of Seward neighbor Laura Watrous,mentioned in April 1856 letter to Frances Seward, "I enclose a piece I should have put in for the dear little girl [Fanny Seward], in the envelope I sent her yesterday- please tell her I did not write for I had been walking far with my brother’s wife."
