Biography

Elizabeth was one of the daughters of William Maxwell Evarts and Helen Minerva Wardner Evarts. In 18710611FWS_WHS1, two of Mr. Evarts' daughters are mentioned, "Mr. Evarts thinks of going about a week later and taking two of his daughters." Elizabeth possibly accompanied her father on this trip to Europe in the summer of 1871.
