Walter G. Robinson was a famous sculptor and also a gravestone carver. He is best known for his sculpture of William Henry Seward. Robinson is mentioned in a letter from William Henry Seward, Jr. to Augustus Henry Seward on April 10, 1873; "I have paid Robinson who is cutting Fathers monument."
