Biography
The fictional, female protagonist in William Shakespeare's famous play, Romeo and Juliet. Shakespeare wrote the play between the years 1594 and 1596. The plot is centered on an ongoing feud between the Capulet and Montague families in Verona, Italy. Juliet and Romeo fall in love during a masquerade party and soon after marry despite the ongoing rivalries between their families. Due to miscommunications, Juliet's scheme to be with Romeo fails, as they both commit suicide.
