Biography
Horace Steele was a reporter and Newspaper editor from Vermont. He worked as a reporter of the Vermont legislator, and then established his own Newspaper called the "Painesville Republican" when he moved to Painesville Ohio in 1836. He met Sam Blatchford at a conference in Albany, and was mentioned in am 1840 letter from Blatchford to Frances Miller Seward.
