Rosalie Eugenia (Kent) Worthington was the daughter of James and Mary Kent of Ann Arundel, Maryland. In 1865, she married Henry Gaither Worthington. The couple resided in Washington, DC, while her husband served in Congress. Frances "Fanny" Seward references seeing her in Washington in her 1866 diary.
