Biography

Florence Nightingale was a social reformer, statistician, and the founder of modern nursing. She was known for using the polar area diagram, also known as the Nightingale Rose Diagram, which is still used today in data visualization. She is mentioned in Frances "Fanny" Adeline Seward's 1862 diary.
