Young Lochinvar is a fictional character in the poetry book "Marmion" written by Sir Walter Scott. Young Lochinvar makes his first appearance in the 12th part of the "Canto Fifth," where he is suggested to be a brave knight, whose bravery and dauntlessness results in the loss of his love. He is mentioned in Frances "Fanny" Adeline Seward's 1860 diary, who references the knight as "pretty."
