My dear William
Your aged affectionate
and respected Grand Ma
she departed yesterday (Friday 21st at 5 OClock
PM) after increasing symptoms of dibility for
about one week. Perfectly rational clear of
paine conversing not 10 minutes before
she appeared to drop to sleep Ma
ing by her not a groan not a sigh her spirit
fled as it were imperceptibly. Thus although
90 years Old last June and her death has
long been expected we feel ourselves compeled
to mourn the loss of an only mother and
an Agreeable companion. She is to be
intered tomorrow at two OClock. The
services having first been performed in the
Church. Thus are we in regular succession
marching one after another downwards
to the Toom.
Wishing to be affectionately
remember to all friends both near and
dear I am truly yours
