My Dear Brother
I received your letter last evening
and should be glad to comply with your request
this day — but as it is a rainy day and I am
not very well prepared to go I think I
shall not be able —
Added to this and which I feel as I
doubt not you will ^is^ a much better reason
why I should not.
Tomorrow is communion here that
with some other duties I have though
of more importance than seeing you
for this small pice of a day
On Monday if there is nothing
more to prevent than I now know
off I shall see you early in the
day as possible — —
I thank you for your information
that my little boy
Birth: 1835-01-09 Death: 1926
is getting better — —
I hope you will remain in the City.
Your Affectionately
G W Seward
