My dear Jennings. On the 11th instant the title of Chau-
tauque passed to John Duer
in trust for the various owners and without encumbrance.
You will therefore make out no more deeds or mortgages in
the name of the Holland Co. My agency will continue and
nothing be changed but forms. I will write you tomorrow or
the next day giving you instructions how to proceed and shall with
as little delay as possible join you in Chautauque.
Meantime and until you hear from me nothing need transpire
of the arrangement. Tomorrow I close my business here and leave
town. I do not know whether you have been alarmed by our
fathers
I stop there a day on my journey home.
Our Uncle John
Nothing new here politically.
My business is arranged satisfactorily.
Your brother [ Hy ]

Tomorrow I am to have an answer in Mr Rumseys
