Troy September 28th —
My dear Mrs Seward
Mr Webb
Birth: 1802-02-08 Death: 1884-06-07
leaves this afternoonfor Saratoga, and I on Wednesday for the same place.
We will be in Albany on Saturday if nothing prevents, and
shall expect you to be in readiness to accompany us to Spring
Lawn on Tuesday. This is the only reperation you can now
make for the numerous disappointments to which I have
been subjected; and as you can now offer no good excuse
for paying me your long promised visit, I will not
accept any apology. I am writing in a very authoritive
manner, I am well aware; but you really deserve a good
scolding and be prepared for it when we meet.
Make my best respects to your husband
