My dear Henry,
I have been confined
to my room and much of
the time to my bed since
you went away— The day
you left I went up to see
Mrs Smith
sick a long time—I came
home with my cough greatly
aggravated— fever during
the night— the next morning
I sent for the Dr.
is improving—I had less fever
last night—though still
weak I am getting better—
I shall enclose to you such
letters as I think require

from a Mr Wm Turner
Georgia giving in his es-
timate good and sufficient
reasons why you should
not support the Wilmot

kindly spirit but gives
abundant evidence of
the dim moral perception

I will enclose in my next
