Wednesday 25th September,
1850.
Dear Mrs. Seward,
I was sorry to hear
you were suffering from head ache
last evening. I hope you are free
of it today and that you & Gov.
Seward
Birth: 1801-05-16 Death: 1872-10-10
& your son
Birth: 1839-06-18 Death: 1920-04-29
& daughter
Birth: 1844-12-09 Death: 1866-10-29

will find it convenient to take
tea with us
Birth: 1795-10-16 Death: 1870-12-24
tomorrow.
I have been sorry to delay
our invitation to you so long, but
we have had so much the odor
of fresh paint about us I feared
we could not make a visit to us
agreeable. I know you will
not estimate our desire to see you
all by the tardiness of our request.
A verbal answer by the hour
will be correctly given. Will you allow
your daughter to return with her

her in the very dress she has
on to pass the day with my
