My dear Uncle
I have received both of yours letters,
and I send you the receipt. You ask me, where &
how I shall spend the Holiday’s, I have thought very
little on the subject. I do not much want to remain
here, nor I do not care to go to Auburn as it must be
rather lonely there; After considering the matter I think
I may as well remain here. I went on Wednesday to
Albany to hear Catharine Hayes
but she does not compare with Jenny Lind
Aunty
ington. I should think you would feel rather lonely, all
by your-self. It is very cold here now, though there is no
snow of any consequence.
