My dear Uncle.
I could find no one here
who could make a sketch of the house, so
I procured three daguerreotypes- the first one
represents the North front of the house alone
taken from in Blatchford's
Birth: 1820-03-09 Death: 1893-07-07
yard. the
view is not a good one as the shrubbery
and trees intercepted it. the second one
was taken from Richardson's
Birth: 1780-12-19 Death: 1849-04-14
old ware
room up stairs and gives a North East
view of the house tower front etc.– this is
pronounced by all to be a fine picture &
I think is the best of the three. the third
view was taken from Grover street and
takes in the front proper of the house
the gate house etc. this last is also an exc-
cellent picture.
I have sent them all to Mr Redfield
Birth: 1788-12-27 Death: 1877-07-22

Will you please advise him or Mr Baker
Birth: 1816-03-16 Death: 1887-10-02Certainty: Possible

which to use in making the engravings
I will send the pictures of the Yates
Birth: 1768-11-09 Death: 1837-03-19
mansion
as soon as Mrs. Worden
Birth: 1803-11-01 Death: 1875-10-03
arrives.
Ever gratefully
Your Nephew
Clarence A. Seward
