My dear Uncle,
I have just received the
inclosed letter from Mr Benjamin.
have answered it and informed him
that I had sent an assignment to
you to Execute, and to return to me
and that when I received it I would
advise Mr Arnott
pay.
I think the transfer is bona fide
and affords an Easy avoidance of an
unpleasant duty. If you think so
please execute & acknowledge the within
(before any of the federal court justices)
send it to Mr
& insert the amt due on the mortgage the
1st of May as the conservation of the
assignment and send it back to me.
I will deliver it up on receipt of the
money –
