Auburn March
My dear Fanny
You must excuse
me for not writing to you
before I intended to have done
so if I did not.
I was up to see Miss Titus
Birth: 1846-01-11 Death: 1913-03-14
last week and she asked
a great deal about you and
mother
Birth: 1805-09-24 Death: 1865-06-21
. She says she is going
to write to you as soon as she
is well enough.
Nep
Birth: 1856 Death: 1859-11-09
and Trip are both very
well and do not do much
of any thing except bark at
the fence.
I suppose that you saw
the Willard Guards
Unknown
from
Auburn at the house did you
see any one among them
that you knew. I should
have came with them if it
had been Fremont
Birth: 1813-01-21 Death: 1890-07-13
who was elected.
I saw Mary Woodruff
Birth: 1849-05-19 Death: 1906-04-10
the other day and she told
me that I must be sure and
ask you why you did not
write to her she said she
had not heard from you
in all winter.
We have some sleighing here
yet and if you only come
home in time we can give you
a good ride after Fanny
Death: 1860
.
How is Rover
Death: 1858-07-04
I hope he is
enjoying good health this winter
I supposed you intend to bring
him home this summer when
you come I have [ no ]
Supplied
doubt that Trip and Nep will
be very glad to see him.
I have yet to go down town
so I will close write to me
soon and I will try and
do better about answering
your letter after this. Remember
me to all the folks.
You affectionate brother
Will
