Albany, Sunday morning
My dear Mother,
I send you my
books by express. They are in eight
boxes, and should reach Auburn
by Tuesday.
I think I shall go down this
week, as Father
Birth: 1801-05-16 Death: 1872-10-10
writes that he wants me as soon as I can come. My
place in the Journal is supplied for
the present, and I hope to effect
a lease of my house tomorrow
or next day. If I can arrange this
and two or three other business matters
I shall get away before the end of
the week.
Anna
Birth: 1834-03-29 Death: 1919-05-02
will stay and superintend the moving. Her father
Birth: 1808-02-07 Death: 1868-09-09
and mother
Birth: 1812-10-29 Death: 1889-10-09
will help her. We shall not give
up the house finally until the 1st
of March.
We are hoping to hear tomorrow
that you can make us a visit
this week.
Affectionately your son
Frederick
Tell Will
Birth: 1839-06-18 Death: 1920-04-29
to send me word what he pays on account of the books, and
I will reimburse him
