The thing is done,
Abram Lincoln
the inauguration took place half
an hour since and that to
without the slightest disturbance
of any kind the whole affair
was a magnificent one, I
could only hear part of the
inaugural address but should
judge that it contained nothing
to excite hostile feelings in the
South and yet it was firm, but
I can tell better when I see it
in print. Theo
